2 Corinthians 12:9
But he said to me,
“My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”
Have you prayed for something and received no answer? Perhaps cancer needs to be cured, a new job is needed, or a house needs to be sold. These events consume your prayers in the hope that they change, but they don’t. You take requests to God and he tells you instead that His grace is sufficient for you.
2 Corinthians 12:9 tells us, But he said to me, “ My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”
What a beautiful statement.
In our time of need, God gives us His grace so that His power will be made perfect through our weakness. We have the full assurance that His grace will carry us through any trials that might come our way.
His grace is sufficient.
His grace is given when we need it the most.
God’s grace is not a backup plan, nor is it a consolation prize. It’s not something we get just because our prayers aren’t answered how we want. His grace is His perfect plan. His grace is always available, especially when we need it the most.
We serve a God whose grace is completely sufficient for us. We are made strong in His “not yet” because of His grace. His power is made perfect in our weakness.
We serve a God whose grace is available for all, there are no preconditions.
God’s grace is sufficient. His grace is first. His grace sent us Jesus. His grace sent us the Holy Spirit.
His grace covers all our weaknesses and makes his power perfect.
Kodiak Baptist Mission is thankful for His Grace. We pray that His grace is in all that we do, and say.
His ways are better. His grace is sufficient! His grace is first! His grace is Jesus.
Get grace.
Give grace.
Get Jesus.
