Job 8:21
Psalm 126:2
A variety of farm animals fill the pastures at Kodiak Baptist Mission. Horses, goats, sheep, and a mule make their presence known with familiar sounds as bellows, neighs, and bleats fill the crisp air. Fields full of familiar sounds letting you know they are there.
But , another sound is heard on campus that is better, laughter, children laughing.
One child laughs, another laugh happens.
It’s contagious.
The beautiful sound of laughter echoing around the campus from children brings joy to all that hear.
When was the last time you laughed? A deep down laugh that made your sides hurt and filled you with joy. A laugh that made every muscle hurt and brought you to tears.
A contagious laugh.
If its been a while you might need refilling, the everyday moments in life could be keeping you from laughing.
You might be letting strife consume your laughter. God wants us to laugh. He wants to fill us with laughter.
Job 8:21 tells us; “ God will yet fill your mouth with laughter and your lips with joy.”
He wants to give complete fullness of joy, so fulfilling we can’t help but laugh!
Psalm 126:2 tells us; “ Our mouths were filled with laughter, our tongues with songs of joy. Then it was said among the nations, “ The Lord has done great things for them.”
God is listening and waiting to fill us with His laughter and joy. Just like hearing the children laugh at Kodiak Baptist Mission brings us joy, our laughter brings him joy. He wants to hear our laughter. God cares. Laugh with pure joy that only comes from God. He will do great things!
Let Him fill you with laughter, be contagious!
Laugh
Be Filled.
