Sunrise

Lamentations 3:22-23 Sunrise, the moment every morning when the dark gives way to light. An invitation to a new day is given with light appearing over the horizon. Some mornings the light brings shadowy grey, peaceful pastel, or one that is so exquisitely breathtaking it demands your admiration and takes your breath away. Each morning brings a new sunrise, a new day, but also a day full of new blessings from Jesus. His blessings and love are new every morning, His mercies never end. Kodiak Baptist Mission knows that we can rely on His mercies and compassion being new every morning. We are trusting in His mercy to carry us through this hard season that we all are experiencing. Lamentations 3:22-23 tells us; “Because of the LORD’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.” Just as we know that the dark gives way to light every morning, we can be confident in the fact that His mercies never end. His compassion towards us is new and fresh every morning. His mercies overcome the dark with exquisite brilliance because of His faithfulness to us every day! Great is His faithfulness. Our sunrises may not always be one of exquisite color that takes our breath away, but the compassion and faithfulness that is new every day from Jesus should always take our breath away. Great is His faithfulness. Everyday. May each sunrise remind you of the Love and Faithfulness that God gives us each and every day. Compassions never fail. Mercies new every day. Great is His faithfulness. Jesus.
